Week#1 - Online Learning Today

Week#1 - Online Learning Today
"We begin the week with an orientation to where online learning fits into higher education today. Online learning can be traced to the early days of computer assisted instruction. In the late 1960's and early 1970's the advent of widespread terminal-based learning systems such as the early PLATO system created foundations for what has evolved over the intervening half century. Online learning as we recognize it today emerged shortly after the advent of the Web in the early 1990's."

  1. I came across your blog while looking for websites that are related to certificate iv in training and assessment. Anyway, few of the things that I like about e-learning are it prepares students for post secondary education or career choice and utilizing emerging technologies, provide individualized instruction that inspires.
